A buyer wants to purchase this fall but has not reviewed their credit, savings, expected payment or timeline.

I would begin by helping them understand what monthly payment feels comfortable, how much they may need for the purchase and whether another event – such as a lease ending or home sale – affects their timeline.

Starting early gives us time to understand the numbers, identify possible concerns and create a plan without the pressure of an active contract.
