I have had a rich career thus far, bringing over 15 years' experience helping people find and connect with their dream home. Through dedication, honesty and professionalism, I pride myself in coming full circle in the property journey, turning 'For Sale' into 'Sold', and being part of the successful outcome of both buyer and seller. My professional background and humble social skills make me a dis

tinguished estate agent and ensure a service that exceeds buyers and sellers' expectations! I have focused my efforts on luxury houses in Bedfordview, having lived in the area for most of my life, I pride myself on my thorough knowledge of the suburb. I have become an area specialist and have watched it develop from its agricultural beginnings to a vibrant modern oasis. I have kept up with the ever-changing laws and developments of real estate by continuing my knowledge in terms of NQF4 and CPD. The upmarket suburb of Bedfordview draws the attention of families wanting their children to attend prestigious private schools, such as, St Benedicts, Saheti, St Andrews and Reddam House. The area also offers great recreational facilities such as Glendower Golf Course, shopping centres, and the Virgin Active. An interesting fact about the name Bedfordview is that it came about as a result of a competition, on 24 February 1926, the suburb officially obtained its name by a girl who thought there was a nice view from Bedford Farm. Bedfordview has something to offer everyone, from young couples striving for a first home to established families seeking a luxurious haven.

Lady Palm: can decrease levels of ammonia, which is found in some cleaning products
Ferns: fantastic for removing common airborne pollutants like formaldehyde and xylene
Ficus Elastica Rubber Plant: can remove airborne toxins and fight parasites
Chrysanthemum: can aid in getting rid of ammonia and xylene — two toxins found in plastics

As the cold of winter retreats and spring takes hold, it’s time to spruce up your home and get ready for a new season. Decluttering has many benefits, including mental well-being!

Go room by room
Don’t try to do your whole house in one day. Write a list of what you’d like to accomplish on a day or over a weekend, and tick things off as you complete them. Be sure to schedule regular tea and snack breaks!

Use the box method
When de-cluttering, fill one box with the things that you want to dump, another for things that are in a relatively good condition that you wish to donate (toys, clothes etc), and another for things that are in the wrong place and need to be put away properly.

Revamp your storage
Use this time to reorganise and buy storage containers to put things in. But don’t use these boxes to store things you don’t need!

Schedule time for the kitchen
Give yourself a full day in the kitchen to clean your fridge, freezer, deep freeze and food cupboards. Remove anything that has expired and wipe down cupboards before replacing items.

Whack your rugs
Round up your children, if you have them, arm them with their cricket bats, tennis rackets or hockey sticks and get them excited to beat the dust out of all your rugs and loose carpets. If you don’t have kids, take out your frustration on the task and go nuts.

Sanitise your mattress
Now is the time to do a deep clean. Vacuum, sanitise and steam away those dust mites, then turn it over for a fresh night’s sleep.
