After being in the Real Estate industry for 15 years and working for several National Franchises in the Western Cape, Lucas van Vuuren took the leap in 2015 and founded the Lucas Real Estate (LRE) Group. Motivated by the belief that the real estate industry needed a brand that stood for trust and integrity and could provide the levels of service so lacking in the industry for

so long, he was determined to create a brand capable of providing the levels of trust and service that the market was looking for. Starting with just 9 agents operating from 3 offices in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, the LRE Group now operates from 6 offices with more than 50 agents, able to service clients across the Cape Peninsula. Winning an International Property Award in its 2nd year of existence placed the LRE Group front and center of the South African property industry. Proving that it was a force to be reckoned with further International Property awards were bestowed upon the Group in 2017, 2018, and 2019, making it one of the few real estate brands in South Africa to win multiple International Property Awards. In 2020 the LRE Group picked up two further awards namely Real Estate Specialists of the Year South Africa 2020/21 from Corporate Livewire and Most Innovative Real Estate Brand South Africa 2020/21 from MEA ( Middle East & Africa Awards), a first in the industry.
