Residents are urged to prepare ahead of Rand Water’s planned maintenance programme taking place between 29 May and 19 July 2026.

According to the official City of Ekurhuleni media release, some areas may experience:

• Reduced water pressure
• Intermittent water supply
• Temporary water outages

Areas in and around Brakpan that may be affected include:

Brakpan CBD, Brakpan North, Dalpark Extensions 1, 5, 6, 9/11, 13 and 19, Kingsway, Leachville Extensions 1, 2 and 3, Anzac, Sonneveld, Minnebron, Rand Collieries, Larrendale, Helderwyk, Sunair Park, Witpoortjie,Brenthurst, Dalview, Kenleaf and all extensions,Withok and surrounding areas.

Important maintenance dates affecting our area include:
🔹 29 May 2026 – 07:00 to 19:00
🔹 29 May to 2 June 2026
🔹 17 July 2026 – 07:00 to 19:00
🔹 17 July to 19 July 2026

Residents are encouraged to please prepare in advance by:

✅ Storing clean water for essential use
