Dunbar Design Studio (Pty) Ltd is looking for a talented Project-Based Freelance Draughtsman to join our team and support an exciting commercial architectural project.

✨ Start: Immediately
📍 Location: Remote / Project-Based (Cape Town)

🔧 What you’ll be doing:
• Creating detailed 2D drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details)
• Turning concepts into precise technical drawings
• Preparing council submission plans
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations
• Revising drawings and managing project files

🎓 What we’re looking for:
• 2–5 years’ experience in architectural drafting
• Qualification in Architectural Draughting
• Strong commercial project portfolio
• Solid knowledge of construction methods & regulations

💻 Must have:
• AutoCAD (essential)
• Your own setup (computer, software, reliable internet)

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• A clear communicator

• Construction drawings
• Council submission plans

💰 Payment:
Flexible – per project / per drawing / hourly (to be agreed)

HOME BASED CARER POSITION

We are looking for a female carer to look after a 47 year old male in a wheelchair (quadriplegic). The person will work seven (7) days on and seven (7) days off, but shifts may change from time to time. The shifts will run Friday afternoon till the following Friday morning (7 days). The person will be required to sleep in during their shifts. It is a one year contract with possibility of annual renewal based on work performance. The person will be required to start as soon as possible.

The person will be required to do the following:
- Assisting patient with personal care plan (Dressing, bed washing etc)
- Assisting with changing of catheters & colostomy bags (training will be provided)
- Assisting with administering medication
- Assisting with personal hygiene
- Assist with household duties and cooking
- Following the COVID-19 procedures.

The person will be required to have the following skills:
- Good personal hygiene
- Good communication skills in English
- Positive attitude
- Good time management skills
- Be strong enough to work with someone that is a dead weight.
- Have completed a homebased carer course or the equivalent of.
- Have done basic first aid.
- Must be a fast learner
- Must be flexible.
- Must be willing to travel, when required.
- Drivers licence an added bonus but not a necessity.

Salary: R3800 per month
