Three generations. One promenade. One fun morning out. ๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ

Started the day with a 4km walk along Durban's beautiful promenade with my daughter Chania and my grandson Joshua, who enjoyed the journey from the comfort of his pram. Plenty of fresh air, a few laughs, and quality family time.

4km completed. The promenade gave us the scenery, but family made the walk worthwhile.

During my mid-morning walk today, I found myself reflecting on a conversation I've been having more and more with homeowners in their 70s and 80s.

The family home that once echoed with children, school runs, birthdays and family gatherings now feels a little quieter.

The children have built lives of their own, often in another city or province. Grandchildren are growing up elsewhere. Families then find themselves facing an important question:
