Stony Brook Vineyards and Cottages are nestled at the foot of the Franschhoek Mountains in the Bo-Hoek, just a five-minute drive from Franschhoek village. A working wine farm offering five, country style self-catering cottages, each with kitchenettes equipped with basic cooking appliances suitable for cooking simple meals. We supply 100% cotton bed linen, bath towels as well as pool towels in the

summer months. The cottages are not air conditioned, but fans are supplied. For the winter months, the cottages have indoor fireplaces, creating a cosy and warm atmosphere. All our water on the farm comes from a private, natural spring up in the mountain and is not only safe to drink, but pure and refreshing. Enjoy the stunning mountain views, abundant bird life and fynbos from your patio while sipping a glass of Stony Brook wine. The communal swimming pool is perfect for cooling off in the hot summer months. We have chosen not to put TVs in the cottages to encourage the enjoyment of nature, conversation, reading and relaxing, however, we do offer free Wi-Fi.

"The location, in a quiet vineyard farm, was perfect with nearby access to a local town and to mountain nature reserves and walks (both by car). Morning coffee on the terrace, watching local birds eat the berries of native trees nearby, was extremely relaxing. The staff were always on hand to help and advise, and we could buy their rather rare wines direct from the maker for our evening meals..."

After the recent devastating fires in Franschhoek, our cottages were closed for a week as we restored water lines and tanks which were destroyed. From today, we will be back on track, and we are grateful that our beautiful cottages were spared.
