There is what is, and there is what could be. Today's Tenant Property Day was built around that idea.

Over the course of the day, we opened a window into the thinking and expertise behind Vukile's business from investment, property and retail to customer insights and the opportunities shaping the future of our industry.

More importantly, the day provided opportunity for meaningful engagement with our tenant partners, sharing not only what we do, but how we can continue creating environments where retailers, shoppers and communities grow.

The morning sessions unpacked how we create value through active asset management, while protecting and enhancing our centres through expert property management, security and ongoing investment to keep our assets relevant, resilient and competitive.

Our 2026 Diski FanFest has come to a close, leaving a lasting legacy for the communities we serve ⚽️

Across Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, we engaged thousands of shoppers, players and coaches, while investing in local youth soccer through the handover of 288 professional-grade soccer kits, 1,200 soccer balls, and coaching and mentorship led by South African soccer legend Doctor Khumalo.

"Our malls are built around the communities they serve, from township and rural centres to urban and commuter hubs, which means the same shoppers who benefit from local soccer development are also the customers walking through the doors." Vukile enters Italy, launching specialist retail real estate platform Esperia Properties 🇮🇹

Building on the success of our dominant Iberian platform, we have entered the Italian market with the acquisition of a €115 million portfolio of three nodally dominant shopping centres in Turin, Padua and Naples, and established Esperia Properties as our new Italian holding company.

With strong partners, experienced local leadership and a platform targeting a portfolio in excess of €500 million over time, we aim to replicate our proven Iberian model in a compelling European market with attractive fundamentals, strong assets and a clear growth strategy.
