LaVaria means much more than just a residence on campus, we are a sister-driven hostel that strives to look after every lady in the hostel and help her grow in her own uniqueness, even though we are the largest ladies hostel on campus.

Our residence logo, known as the Flista, is named after our very first residence parents, Flip and Christa. 🩷

The different shades and sizes within the logo symbolise the unique ladies who make up our residence. Although each of us is different, together we form one united sisterhood built on love, support, and acceptance. 🌷🩷

The figures in the logo represent our ladies with their hands raised towards the sky, symbolising our commitment to honouring God in all that we do. They also serve as a reminder of the endless opportunities and blessings He graciously provides each day. 🩷

Die pragtige betekenis agter ons embleem weerspieël die waardes waarop ons huis gebou is – aanvaarding, liefde en omgee. Daarom dra ons ons embleem met trots, as ‘n simbool van eenheid, geloof en die besondere susterskap wat ons deel. 🌷🎀
