We completed a large-scale aerial survey across ~31,000 hectares in Iganga, Uganda to support a proposed irrigation and damming scheme. Using our long-range, custom-built drones equipped with a 50MP metric camera, INS (1 cm positional / 0.004° angular), and a Livox Avia LiDAR (720k pps), we delivered orthomosaics, LAZ point clouds and raster DTMs tied to WGS84 UTM Zone 36N with EGM2008 heights.

Key outcomes: precise DTMs for dam and canal siting, >5 cm vertical accuracy, 5–6 pts/m² density, and full-area coverage despite dense vegetation — LiDAR ensured reliable ground models where photogrammetry struggled. Ground control used 10 points at 20 mm accuracy; trajectory processing combined PPP and PPK to keep positional deviations under 1.5 cm.

We completed a high-accuracy LiDAR and aerial survey for the Kao diamond mine in Lesotho, covering ~315 hectares and delivering survey-grade products for mining and engineering use. Using our in-house rotary-wing UAV fitted with a 60 MP metric camera, dual-frequency GNSS/IMU and a LIVOX Avia LiDAR, we achieved: average LiDAR density >80 pts/m², 5 cm GSD orthophotos and vertical accuracy better than 1.5 cm (1‑sigma).

We recently completed a 60 km aerial LiDAR and photogrammetry survey of the Maragra Sugar Estate in Mozambique to help verify and reinforce storm-damaged levees protecting sugar cane fields from seasonal cyclones. Using our custom long-range platform fitted with a 50 MP metric camera, dual-frequency GNSS/INS and a Livox Avia LiDAR (720 kHz), we captured orthomosaics at 3 cm GSD, dense point clouds (30–50 pt/m²) and classified DTMs with vertical accuracy better than 3 cm (1σ).
