This International Day of Families, and in the spirit of the UAE’s Year of Family theme, “Growing in Unity,” we celebrate the bonds that shape us and bring people closer together.

Because family, in all the forms it takes, is where care begins and belonging grows.

“SheFilms” didn’t just host an event; they built an immersive, food-led world and invited guests to step inside it.

In the courtyard, The “Lunchbox” came to life beyond the screen, as cuisine and cinema intertwined throughout the evening. Storytelling flowed through image, sound, and flavour, coming together in shared moments at the table.

قدّم فريق “SheFilms” أمسية عشاء مختلفة، جمعت بين متعة المشاهدة ولذّة الطعام ولقاء الأصدقاء في تجربة واحدة.

في ساحة ميزا، لم يكن “The Lunchbox” مجرد فيلم يُشاهد، بل تجربة تُعاش، حيث تزامنت الأطباق بتناغم مع ما يُعرض على الشاشة.

عرضٌ يتشكل بين الصورة والصوت والنكهة، ويكتمل في لحظات نتشاركها حول مائدة الطعام.

As the founder of “Resound UAE”, she’s created more than just a platform; she’s built a home for artists across the GCC to gather, experiment, and share their sonic stories freely. Her work gently reminds us that in a world so focused on what we see, there’s also profound beauty in what we hear.

‎في هذه الحلقة من ، نتعرّف على صفية البلوشي، فنانة صوتية وباحثة تدعونا إلى الإصغاء للعالم من حولنا بطريقة مختلفة.

‎تعمل صفية مع الأصوات التي تحيط بنا، من الموسيقى التقليدية وهمسات الحياة الحضرية إلى ملامح الطبيعة في دولة الإمارات، حيث تمزج نبراتها وتعيد تركيبها لتنسج منها تجارب سمعية مبتكرة.

‎كما أسّست صفية منصة “Resound UAE”، وهي أكثر من مجرد منصة فنية، بل مساحة تجمع فناني المنطقة من دول الخليج لاستكشاف ومشاركة حكاياتهم الصوتية.
