#13 years ago, I arrived in Dubai with a salary of just AED 1,000 a month and a heart full of hopeš¦šŖ I still remember those early days, the long working hours, counting every dirham before the end of the month, sharing accommodation, missing family, and wondering if all the sacrifices would one day be worth it.
There were moments when life tested me. Times when I felt exhausted, uncertain, and far away from everything familiar. While others saw Dubaiās skyline, I saw the countless hours of hard work it took to survive and move forward.
But I refused to give up.
I believed that every challenge was preparing me for something greater. I worked tirelessly, learned new skills, took every opportunity to grow, and pushed myself beyond my comfort zone. Step by step, year by year, I transformed my struggles into strength.
Dubai became the city where my dreams found direction. It is where I built my career, established myself in marketing and real estate, became a shareholder in a business, and most importantly, built a life I am proud of.
This journey wasnāt just about professional success. It was here that I found my life partner, created lifelong friendships, and discovered a second family away from home.
Today, as I receive this Pledge Certificate, I am reminded of how far I have comeāfrom earning AED 1,000 a month and worrying about tomorrow, to becoming a business owner and contributing to the growth of this incredible nation.
My story is proof that in the UAE, your starting point does not define your destination. With hard work, perseverance, and faith, dreams truly can become reality.
