Welcome to our Arabian Ranches 2 renovation. We’re 50% complete and the upstairs is still to be done. Inshallah! (Need to sell some more houses to fund it 🤣)
This renovation was done with a seller’s hat on and a buyers hat too - I want to have MAXIMUM returns when we eventually sell, so that means going all out on quality and finishing! It also meant not over personalising the space, as I want a large percentage of people to LOVE it!
I went for two kitchen approach for function and resale, which was a massive expense but with a villa of this size, one day someone with deep pockets might want a seperate kitchen (we use it for laundry, food prep, and sometimes cooking).
If you’re looking to buy or sell, I very much have a two hat approach. Sellers have your home looking as best you can, if that means styling, then do it. For buyers, think about the long game when renovating! Don’t go cheap, think about your future buyers.
