Dubai just finished the world’s first flying taxi station. 🚁
Not a render. Not a concept video. It’s built — right next to Dubai International Airport.
3,100 m². Four floors. Two rooftop landing pads. Up to 170,000 passengers and 42,000 aircraft movements a year. And the aircraft that will use it is fully electric.
Here’s the number that matters if you live here:
DXB → Dubai Marina in 12 minutes. That drive is 45 minutes on a good day.
320 km/h top speed. 4 passengers plus a pilot. Zero emissions. Fares aimed at Uber Black level, booked from an app. Commercial passenger service is targeted for this year.
And Dubai isn’t stopping at one. Vertiports are planned for Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Mall and Atlantis The Royal.
Which means something for anyone holding Dubai property: every one of those addresses is about to sit on the city’s air-mobility map. Connectivity is the thing that has moved Dubai values for 20 years — the Metro did it, Al Maktoum is doing it, and this is the next layer. The buyers who moved early on Marina and Downtown didn’t wait for the ribbon-cutting.
