During a Property Check, we use thermal imaging to check the temperature of the air coming from your AC vents and assess how effectively the system is cooling.

The things our Check Heroes have caught recently:
1️⃣ Waste connector leakage — a leaking connection was found at the waste pipe, allowing water to escape underneath the sink.
2️⃣ Incorrect chandelier fixing — the heavy chandelier was secured with small screws into a wood panel, instead of the appropriate expansion bolts. Definitely not what you want happening overhead.
3️⃣Missing door stopper — without a stopper in place, the door handle was hitting the wall, with visible impact marks already present.
4️⃣ FCU chiller pipe dripping — water was actively dripping from the chiller pipework, which could lead to moisture damage to the ceiling or surrounding finishes if left unaddressed.

A property can look brand new and still have details that need attention. That’s why a proper Check goes beyond what you can see at first glance.

Some property problems love leaving clues 🚩
Here are three worth paying attention to.

1️⃣ A water stain can stick around long after the original leak is gone — but that doesn’t mean the problem is solved.

Check what’s above, behind and around the affected area. The stain is often just the visible part of the story.

2️⃣ A dip or slope can be caused by something as simple as poor installation, but it can also point to moisture or movement underneath.

3️⃣ Tiny crack? Don’t panic. But don’t ignore it either.
The location, direction and size of a crack can tell you much more than the crack itself. Context matters.

Sometimes the little things are the things worth checking twice.
