International company Henley & Partners has published a ranking of countries loyal to cryptocurrencies in 2024
The first place is occupied by
🥇Singapore 🇸🇬
🥈 and in second place is Hong Kong 🇨🇳.

The ranking was based on criteria such as:
-public adoption
-infrastructure implementation
-innovation and technology
-legal and regulatory environment
-economic factors
-taxability/tax-friendliness

At the same time, the Emirates ranked first in the tax-friendliness indicator with a maximum score of 10/10.

10 points of the tax-friendliness indicator are scored by countries with the lowest taxation on crypto-transactions and clear tax policy on cryptocurrencies.

🇦🇪 UAE PASSPORT RISES IN THE RANKINGS

For the first time in history, the Emirates has entered the top 10 of The Henley Passport Index, ranking 9th (185 visa-free countries for passport holders).

The Henley Passport Index is the original authoritative ranking of all passports worldwide by the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.

The index is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) - the largest and most accurate travel database - and improved by Henley & Partners’ research team.

Among the countries moving fastest in the passport rankings, the UAE is the champion.
Since 2006, the UAE has moved up 53 positions in the Passport Index 📈(chart attached)

Higher in the ranking today remain:
🥇1 Place - Singapore
🥈2 Place - France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain
🥉3 Place - Austria, Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden.

Remote property purchase differs for primary and secondary objects🏡🔍

For under-construction properties:
- The buyer or their broker provides the client’s passport details for the SPA processing. 📄💼
- The initial deposit plus a 4% fee is paid to the DLD. 💰💸
- The buyer receives and signs the SPA electronically or physically if documents are sent by courier. 📲🖋️
- Subsequently, the investor receives an ownership certificate for the under-construction property (OQOOD). 📜✅
- Upon completion of construction and full payment according to the plan, the owner receives the keys (either personally or through an authorized person) and the Title Deed. 🗝️📜

For secondary properties:
- The buyer makes a deposit (10% of the total amount) held by the broker until the deal is finalized. 💼💰
- Both parties electronically sign a memorandum of understanding. 📄✍️
- The buyer or their authorized representative completes the deal with the seller in person. The buyer pays the remaining amount for the property. 💼💵
- The new owner receives the Title Deed. 📜

Payment can be made via bank transfer through the SWIFT system, a foreign bank card, cryptocurrency, or cash. 💳💵

If the testator is NOT and never was a Muslim and yet did NOT leave a will, the heirs have a choice of distribution:
-distribute the estate according to Sharia law
-distribute according to the law for non-Muslims passed in February 2023.

The law is closer to international law and distributes the property equally between the spouse and the children

The inheritance path differs depending on residency (have/ have not emirates ID).
