Dubai Landmark: The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour

Slated for completion in 2020, this global landmark is planned to surpass the iconic Burj Khalifa and become the tallest tower in the world.

The final height of the tower is still not disclosed, but estimated to surpass 828 m (2,717 from) in height with an estimated preliminary cost of $1 billion (AED 3.67 billion).

This will further strengthen Dubai as a center of innovation and excellence in architecture, engineering and construction. It will further bolster the image of Dubai as a tourist destination of choice and further serve as a beacon of excellence.

Dubai Fun Facts

Snap of Emirates Towers Complex. These towers marked a turn in Dubai architecture and signaled the beginning of ultramodern, chic and contemporary towers. These served as a modern landmark in the early 2000s, when their construction was completed.

The taller tower is 56 stories and is Jumeirah Emirates Towers, a 400 room hotel, operated by the well known Jumeirah group. The shorter amongst the 2 is an office building by the name of Emirates Office Towers and is 54 stories tall.
