The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the Real Estate Tokenization Project

Making Dubai the first in the Middle East to tokenize titledeeds using blockchain technology under its Real Estate Innovation Initiative (REES).

Instead of buying an entire property, investors can own a fraction of it through digital tokens.
AED 1M property could be split into 1,000 tokens worth AED1,000 each, making real estate investment more accessible, liquid, and hassle-free while make transactions more transparent and secure.
