Some career moves deserve more than a passing mention.

We’re pleased to announce Kieran Sheehan’s promotion to Director and Dubai Hills Estate Team Leader at betterhomes.

Since arriving in Dubai in 2021, Kieran has built a career on persistence, strong relationships and an ability to navigate the unpredictable nature of real estate. From the uncertainty of starting in a new market to handling multimillion-dirham transactions, he’s earned every step of his progression.

But ask Kieran what has made the biggest difference, and he’ll tell you it’s the people he’s worked alongside.

“I came to Dubai without much of a plan, and looking back, it was probably the best decision I ever made. It hasn’t all been smooth sailing. You lose deals, you have difficult days, and you learn pretty quickly that success doesn’t happen overnight.
I’ve been fortunate to learn from some brilliant people along the way, and now I’m looking forward to leading a team, sharing what I’ve learnt and helping others find their feet and build successful careers of their own.”

Five years on, that leap of faith has opened the door to a new chapter, this time with a team to lead. Congratulations, Kieran. An achievement worth celebrating, and plenty more still to come.

A good way to close out Q3.

We had plenty to celebrate at our latest betterhomes meeting, from standout individual performances to some brilliant team achievements across the business. There was a lot of well deserved recognition in the room, and a real sense of how much has been achieved over the past few months.

September was a huge one for Leasing too, with the team closing AED 5.67M+ in commissions and setting a new records.

Ambitious people, strong teams, managers who care about their people and a culture where everyone wants to keep moving forward together.

It was good to take a moment to celebrate Q3 properly.
Now onto Q4. I think we have plenty more to come.
