Being single is not a lonely chapter it is simply a season of becoming. We all have our own timeline, and just because someone else has found love before us doesn’t mean we are falling behind. Life has its own beautiful way of bringing things to us when the time is right. Until then, let us be patient with ourselves, appreciate the life we have today, and find joy in the little things. Whatever life brings, may we continue to trust, grow, and make each day meaningful. Because sometimes, the waiting is not about being left behind it’s about becoming ready for what is meant for us.

You always hear comments like: Bakit wala ka pang asawa? (Why aren't you married yet?), Tumandang dalaga ka na (You're becoming an old maid), or the classic Sige ka, tatanda kang mag-isa (You'll grow old alone).

If you are a single Filipina in your 40s, you’ve probably heard these lines at every family reunion, fiesta, or Christmas gathering. 🤦‍♀️🙆‍♀️

Sa kultura natin, grabe ang pressure kapag umabot ka ng 40 na walang ring sa daliri. Akala nila, napag-iwanan ka na.But instead of getting upset or pressured, change your mindset:

1. Hindi ka huli, iba lang ang timeline mo. Success for us today means financial independence and peace of mind. Hindi lang kasal.
2. Smile and protect your peace- You don’t owe anyone an explanation.
3.Mas okay nang mag-isa kaysa magpakasal sa maling tao. Choice mo mag-antay sa tamang tao dahil mataas ang standards mo. Choice mo 'yan, hindi kaparusahan.

Being single at 40 is a victory, hindi waiting room. You chose self-respect mahigit sa pressure ng ibang tao.

To my fellow single Pinays: Hindi ka kulang. You are whole, happy, and right on time. 🥂❤️
