Most moms here slow down after one, but having three pushed me to move smarter, not slower. i’m a mom of three, i’ve got a full-time real estate career, and somehow-we’re still catching flights.
it’s not always polished. there are tantrums, missed naps, and client calls mid-chaos. but we’ve found our rhythm. some days i’m closing deals from a hotel room, other days i’m just celebrating that we made it out the door.
this life isn’t about choosing between raising my kids or chasing my dreams. it’s about raising them through it. to the mamas in dubai especially the ones overwhelmed with one, i see you.

The deadline to appoint an accredited service provider is October 30, 2026. Full compliance kicks in January 1, 2027. Non-compliance is AED 5,000 per month in fines.

B2B. B2G. Free zones. Freelancers. Consultants. Everyone is in scope.

The UAE introduced VAT in 2018. This is the next step. A country building serious infrastructure doesn’t do it halfway.

Nobody in this industry talks about this enough. So I will. 👇

Halal property investment in Dubai is real, it’s structured, and it’s available at some of the biggest banks in the UAE.

It’s called Murabaha. The bank buys the property. Sells it to you at an agreed profit margin. You pay in instalments. No riba. No interest. Fully Shariah-compliant.

Is it slightly more expensive than a conventional mortgage? Marginally. But you’re not compromising your deen to build wealth. And in a market with zero property tax, zero capital gains tax, and 6-9% rental yields, the numbers still work.

Dubai Islamic Bank. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Emirates Islamic. The options are there.

Most agents never bring this up. Not because it doesn’t exist because they never thought to look for it.

A government that builds policy around family stability, on top of zero tax, world class infrastructure, and a Golden Visa , is building somewhere people don’t just visit.

They stay. They settle. They buy.

And when people stay, property demand doesn’t go away. It grows. 📍

Dubai is expensive. Dubai is cheap. Both are true depending on what you’re buying. 👇

Petrol, taxis, eating out, gold, genuinely cheap. No tax on gold purchases. The City of Gold nickname is literal.

Alcohol, school fees, rent, that’s where it stings.

And rent is the one that matters most right now. Some areas have doubled in three years. Your mortgage payment on a property you bought three years ago hasn’t moved.

That gap, between what renters are paying now and what owners locked in then is the whole argument for owning in Dubai.
