Record-setting transaction in Studio City
Cushman & Wakefield Core advised SRG on the forward purchase of a landmark mixed-use development in Studio City - the largest acquisition of its kind in the area on record and one of the largest mixed-use deals in the UAE in 2026.
The asset, acquired by Aldar, comprises six residential buildings and a community mall with 312 apartments and 39 retail units. It is one of the UAE's earliest large-scale multi-family schemes, designed from the outset to be held under single ownership and operated for long-term institutional income, rather than sold down on a strata basis.
The transaction was structured and concluded entirely off-market. That it closed at this scale, at this moment, reflects the depth of conviction that institutional capital continues to place in this market.
