Earning less than AED 20,000 a month? Don't assume a mortgage is out of reach.
Some UAE banks consider mortgage applications from customers earning below AED 20,000.
For example:
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB)
- From AED 10,000 with salary transfer.
- From AED 15,000 without salary transfer.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB)
- From AED 8,000 for UAE nationals.
- From AED 15,000 for expatriate residents.
But here's what matters:
Meeting the minimum salary requirement doesn't mean your mortgage will automatically be approved.
Banks also consider your existing financial commitments, employment profile, down payment and the property you intend to purchase.
And remember, the bank with the lowest salary requirement isn't necessarily the one offering the most suitable mortgage terms.
In this video, Sedra from Expert Bridge explains why understanding your eligibility should come before choosing a property.
