d I have spent many a morning curled up on the porch watching, the sunrise with steaming cups of coffee, lazy afternoons with the perfect combination of sun, shade and breeze, and star studded evenings discovering new constellations, telling stories, playing games - whatever. Guests will have access to all the rooms in the house, appliances, dishware, etc. One closet is off limits, where we store our family's personal effects while we're away. Interaction with Guests

Guests will check-in and check-out with the property's caretaker, who will give you a tour upon arrival, and review inventory with you upon check-out. The Neighborhood

My favorite thing about Island Harbor is that it isn't flooded with tourists. Even during the Winter months, the busiest time for Anguilla's tourism, you can still walk over to Savannah Bay or Junks Hole Bay and have the place entirely to yourself. And did I mention absolutely stunning? If snorkeling is your thing - you got it. Buggy boarding? Shell collecting? Check, check and CHECK! Getting around

When you arrive in Anguilla by ferry, you can easily take a cab from the boat to Villa Dulcinea, or rent a car right at the ferry dock (ask us about hiring a car to pick you up when you arrive). Villa Dulcinea is just a short drive away from the most popular beaches in Anguilla, like the always immaculate Shoal Bay (10 mins), Junks Hole (5 mins) and Rendezvous Bay (20 mins), as well as grocery stores (5 & 10 mins), the island's best French Bakery (Le Bon Pain, 8 mins), The Valley (10 mins) and much more. It's very accessible, but at the same time, secluded and private. Other Things to Note

Villa Dulcinea is our family's dream home. It has been a long time in the making and there are still some cosmetic elements - landscaping, garage, etc. - that are still in progress. The house is still luxurious and grand, but there are some areas like these that we are still working to perfect. Thank you for your patience as we work on finalizing these last details of the house. We also hope that you will treat our home with the same care and respect that we would - a lot of love, time and energy has been put into making Villa Dulcinea what it is! It is the realization of a dream for our family - many, many, years in the making. We appreciate your interest in visiting, and hope that you will come to love this house as much as we do.
