NEW WAY TO SARANDA

📌Not long ago a new route was built in Albania, allowing you to get from Tirana to Saranda much faster, easier and more comfortable

Remind to the old road through the village of Gjirokastra through a mountain pass, which was not always comfortable, especially for newcomers, took quite a long time and required extreme caution.

📌Now the new road runs along the Kardhiq-Delvinë route through a 1350m tunnel, and straight from there you will turn to Saranda👌🏻

Specific instruction:

📌 When you drive from Tirana and approach the village of Kardik, turn right, where it says Delvin and Saranda. After you pass the tunnel, turn right again at Delvin (all photos are in the carousel)

Advantages of the new road:

- travel time is reduced from 4.5 hours to 3, and if you drive from Tirana airport by car, and not from the city center, the journey will take 2.5 hours at all
- it’s a much safer way. The path on the pass required maximum caution and care on the road.
- very beautiful mountain views open on the way, the plains are all with olive trees

However, if you want to go to IKEA in the Greek city Janina, you are still better of using the old road, cause your way will be shorter for 40 minutes.

❗️Be extremely careful and rely on the signs when you arrive in Albania, as there is no new road in Google maps yet

Albania is developing more and more fast and it’s very visible. Therefore, now it has become even more pleasant to come to a fairy tale country 😍

НОВЫЙ ПУТЬ В САРАНДУ

📌Совсем недавно в Албании был построен новый путь, позволяющий добираться с Тираны до Саранды (и наоборот) гораздо быстрее, проще и комфортнее

Напомним, старый путь пролегал через деревню Гирокастра через горный перевал, что было не всегда комфортно особенно для вновь прибывших, занимало достаточно длительное время и требовало повышенной осторожности

📌Сейчас же новая дорога пролегает по маршруту Кардик-Дельвине (Kardhiq-Delvinë) через тоннель протяженностью 1350м, а прямиком оттуда вас ожидает поворот на Саранду👌🏻

Конкретная инструкция:

📌Когда едете с Тираны и приближаетесь к деревне Кардик — поворачивайте направо, где написано Дельвине и Саранда. После того, как проедете тоннель — снова поверните направо на Дельвине (в карусели оба указателя)

Плюсы новой дороги:

- время в пути сокращается с 4,5 часов до 3, а если ехать с аэропорта Тираны на автомобиле, а не с центра города, путь и вовсе займёт 2,5 часа
- гораздо более безопасный путь. Путь на перевале требовал максимальной осторожности и внимательности на дороге
- в пути открываются очень красивые горные виды, равнины усыпаны оливковыми деревьями

Однако, если вы хотите поехать в ИКЕЮ в греческом городе Янина, вам все же лучше воспользоваться старой дорогой, так как она сократит путь на 40 минут.

❗️Будьте предельно внимательны и полагайтесь на указатели, прилетев в Албанию, так как в Гугл-картах новой дороги пока нет

Албания развивается все стремительнее и это очень ощутимо. Поэтому теперь приезжать в страну-сказку стало ещё приятнее 😍
