September in Tirana, the practical version. 🍃 Twenty to twenty eight degrees, warm enough at night to sit outside, cool enough at 9am to actually run in the Grand Park. The terraces have not moved indoors. The lake is quiet on a weekday morning in a way it simply is not in July. Rooms across the city cost less than they did in August. Bring one jacket for the evenings and change nothing else about your packing. Save this for the trip. Anything you would add?

Check in, start to finish. 🔑 Our guests sent us 194 messages about arrival times this month, which tells us the answer is not obvious enough, so here it is. There is no reception to reach before it closes. Check-in is self-service at any hour: you complete it online, and your door code and the access videos arrive before you travel. Land at 2am, arrive at 2pm, it works the same either way. Save it, or send it to whoever is booking your flights.

Thinking about working from Tirana this autumn? ☕ Here is what actually matters after week one, and it is never the view. Fibre that holds a call. A table you can work at all day. A kitchen, because eating out sixty nights in a row stops being a holiday. Laundry inside the apartment. And somewhere to move your body that is not a jog past traffic. Same apartment, same everything, and our own site is cheaper. 💻 Every time, not as a promotion. When you book through an OTA we pay them a commission, so the price has to carry it. Booking with us directly skips that, and we would rather the difference stayed with you than with a middleman. Nothing is held back for the platforms, the same apartments are on both. An apartment in Tirana, five minutes from the lake, with a garage spot if you want one. 🔑 H305 has fast fibre, a full kitchen, a proper table you can work at, and the Grand Park at the end of the street. It sleeps three comfortably. This is the unit we give people who are staying more than a few nights and want to stop living out of a suitcase. DM us your dates and we will tell you if it is free.

Parking is the second most common question our guests ask, 187 messages this month alone, right behind check-in times. 🚗 So here is the whole answer in one place. We arrange a spot in the covered garage under the building, and the lift goes straight from the garage up to your floor. It is 15€ a night, and it drops to 10€ a night once you are staying 21 nights or more. It goes on the reservation rather than being sorted out on arrival, so it is worth asking when you book.
