Where a previous project failed, our design found a way. 🏗️✅

For anyone planning in Vienna, it’s no secret that the requirements of the Department of Architectural Design (MA19) are exceptionally high. Feedback is typically neutral or highly critical, so having a project fully convince the authorities on the first attempt is anything but ordinary.

Securing a clear "Ready for Submission" (Einreichfähig) for our project in Vienna's 22nd district on the first attempt is a major win. 📜✅

This result is particularly rewarding because, just two years ago, a different proposal for this exact site failed to gain approval—a setback so severe that the previous owner unfortunately went bankrupt.

We are now moving into the next phase with full energy: The official building permit submission with the MA37!

Maximizing living quality despite minimal building density!

Challenges are meant to be solved. In Hinterbrühl, we have planned a project that seemed almost impossible at first glance. With extremely restrictive building regulations allowing only 10% site coverage and a technically demanding subsoil, absolute precision was required.
Thanks to our long-standing expertise with the Lower Austrian Building Code (NÖ Bauordnung) and a close, trust-based collaboration with the owner, we made it happen. A perfectly functional semi-detached house that optimizes the site without compromising the natural surroundings. Architecture is more than just design, it’s about finding solutions at the edge of what is possible.

Defining the atmosphere at 'Sweet Vogel'. We paired vertical tile textures with organic ceiling curves and warm terrazzo to bring a specific softness to this Vienna corner.

We designed this modern single-family residence in Vienna’s 21st district, emphasizing clarity, proportion, and materiality. The architecture is characterized by clean lines, a flat roofscape, and a restrained palette of white plaster contrasted with metallic panels. Generous horizontal glazing and a transparent balcony element foster natural light pe*******on and establish a contemporary architectural expression. The outdoor spaces are structured with carefully composed greenery and ornamental grasses, providing a natural counterpoint to the minimalist architecture. A precisely planned driveway and entrance sequence underline both functionality and aesthetic presence.

Absolutely thrilled to share this recently completed interior design project in Vienna's 17th district! ✨ We focused on creating a modern, luxurious, and incredibly bright living space. The open-plan design, accentuated by a stunning galerie with high ceilings in the entrance and dining area, invites natural light to flood every corner, while elegant materials like the marble flooring and sophisticated dark wood accents add a touch of refined beauty.

For the Seilbahn Kornockbahn in Turracher-Höhe -Steiermark, we have been commissioned, together with architect Herwig Mayer, to take over the planning for extension of the valley station. The existing building will be comprehensively modernized and receive an architectural redesign that harmoniously integrates with the alpine environment.

The planned extension includes additional floors featuring spacious communal areas, as well as a contemporary facade design that blends traditional elements with modern accents. As a result, not only will the building’s capacity be significantly increased, but a forward-thinking and inviting atmosphere will also be created, excelling both functionally and aesthetically.

We look forward to implementing this exciting project and transforming the valley station into a modern highlight of the region.

Urban Densification in Vienna – A Project in Redtenbachergasse

In 2014, the City of Vienna adopted the strategy of urban densification as part of the "Urban Development Plan STEP 2025." One of its key goals is to renovate old buildings and create additional living space through vertical extensions. Many property owners and developers have already embraced this opportunity.

This approach is also being implemented in Redtenbachergasse, where an existing building is being modernized and extended to provide high-quality living spaces for future residents.

We are proud to contribute to this project with our plans and to play our part in responsible urban development, in collaboration with architect Herwig Mayer.
