Enjoy Vienna Design Week till October 9, 2016

Vienna Design Week is celebrating its birthday! For the tenth time, the whole of Vienna will be inspired by design for ten days. From Sept. 30 – Oct. 9 the festival will focus on design, with numerous events from a range of different perspectives.

Operetta in Schönbrunn

On 14 evenings between 8 and 30 August, the otherwise rarely used Schönbrunn Palace Theater, Vienna's oldest theater from the Rococo period, will provide the stage for Strauss' Die Fledermaus. It is a rare and special pleasure to be able to experience this operetta in a version for chamber opera in the intimate setting of this little theater.

From June 29th the annual Music Film Festival turns Vienna's city hall square (Rathausplatz) into a huge open-air cinema for the summer. Culinary delights and a rich programme await all classical music fans and night owls. Free entry!
