Adelaide has been named the ninth most liveable city in the world. You heard that right, SA, we've entered the Top 10.

The ranking is a slight upgrade from our 11th position last year - and a whopping improvement from 2023, where Adelaide was ranked 30th.

The Global Liveability Index, produced by the Economist Intelligence Unit, gave Adelaide an overall score of 95.9 out of 100, putting us just ahead of Vancouver - and marginally behind Osaka and Auckland.

It’s hard to believe Christmas is three weeks away!

Head down to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga to see Adelaide’s Giant Christmas Tree which soars 25 metres into the sky.

It has 13,616 individually programmable LED lights that get switched on at 8pm every night until 4 January 2022.
