It’s a common frustration, especially in smaller, self-managed groups. The simple answer?

The Strata Corporation is responsible for maintaining common property - and that includes lawns and general upkeep.

✔️ The Strata Titles Act requires common areas to be maintained for all owners
✔️ While there’s no exact rule about weeds, upkeep is expected
✔️ If it’s not being done, it becomes a shared responsibility to resolve

So what can you do?
• Raise it with the group
• Agree on a maintenance plan
• Or allow a willing owner to step in (with approval)

👉 Because strata works best when everyone works together.
