What a transformation! 👌

This arena was suffering from an inconsistent riding surface, poor drainage, and uneven conditions that can impact both horse and rider confidence. By rejuvenating the existing surface and introducing Bounce Rubber Arena Surface premium rubber mulch, we’ve restored the arena to provide improved cushioning, better stability, enhanced drainage, and a more consistent ride across the entire area.

The result? A safer, more comfortable surface that performs in all conditions and is ready for many more years of use.

If your arena is looking tired, holding water, or lacking the performance it once had, a surface rejuvenation may be all it needs.

A break in the rain meant I could trim these three arenas yesterday and hit them with the roller today to firm up the base ready for the next step.

Rub-a-dub-dubber, let’s lay some rubber.

Adding a good quality rubber to your stable, breezeways, walkers, tie ups or anywhere your horse is going to be spending time is going to make a huge difference.

The Belmondo range available through , is in my opinion, the best option available in Australia. Cheap rubbers don’t compare, they won’t last, and they don’t interlock creating a smooth consistent and stable surface for your horse.

Also, how freaking cute are these Shetlands 😍

ARENA UPDATE - we wanted to share an update on how our project is progressing!

* All the drainage falls on the arena sub-bases have now been completed (lots of excavating and roller compacting).

* Shane from EquiPro Services has moved just over 400 tonnes of soil to the western fence line to create a mound that will be great for spectators once it’s settled and the grass grows.

* The limestone for the bases will arrive this week. Then Shane will start levelling and compacting the bases.

The Adelaide Hills Dressage Club would like to acknowledge Shane Curnow and EquiPro Services and Alyssa Penley and Bounce Rubber Arena Surface for their support. This project is supported through a Grant from the Government of South Australia and SA Recreation and Sport.
