Today, the RBA kept the official cash rate at 4.35%, a decision widely anticipated given strong employment figures and persistent underlying inflation. For the property market, this decision is expected to sustain elevated listing numbers, extend the spring selling season through to Christmas, and maintain steady buyer demand.

Recent data shows that while property prices continue to rise, growth is slowing and performance varies by region. The LJ Ho**er network has reported a 5-7% month-on-month increase in appraisals, suggesting a strong pipeline of new property listings heading into the new year.

The property market is expected to maintain its current trajectory, with limited new supply in certain areas continuing to support price growth. However, affordability challenges and higher mortgage rates will gradually slow momentum, particularly in larger capitals, until rate cuts commence in 2025. Current rate conditions indicate that more listings could appear early next year as homeowners manage interest rate pressures, which may help moderate price growth while maintaining balanced demand. Once rates start to decrease, buyer confidence and demand are expected to increase, boosting borrowing capacity and injecting fresh momentum into the market.

This year, we're bringing extra Christmas magic to kids in need, and we need your help! By focusing on babies and teens – the two age groups most in demand – we’re hoping to make this season unforgettable for those who need it most. ✨

🌟 How You Can Help:

Donate a Gift: Bring new, unwrapped gifts to our office! Please keep in mind:

Max value: $30 per gift
For ages newborn to 18 years
No weapons, food items, books, or clothing (these are already included in backpacks)

🕒 Important Dates: Donations are accepted until December 1st, allowing us time to sort and distribute gifts across SA. Let’s make Christmas magical for these kids! 🎁
