With EVs now making up over 13% of new car sales in Australia and projected to reach around 19% this year, the demand for accessible charging infrastructure is only increasing. At the same time, around 30% of Australians don’t have access to off-street parking, creating a clear gap that needs to be filled.

This is where service stations are stepping in.

Well-located sites are already proving their value, with nearly $867.9 million in transactions recorded in 2025. As charging times increase dwell time, the opportunity for retail and convenience offerings only grows stronger.
