Taking a 150 year-old photograph and bringing it back to life.

This is Seafield Tower in Glenelg. We rebuilt the traditional verandah and balcony, keeping all the original cast iron posts and period features.

It’s the kind of work that takes time. Matching materials, respecting the original craftsmanship, making sure it’s built to last another century.

A renovation that began with a dream to open up the home, and ended with this refined, light-filled kitchen.

We worked closely with our clients to expand their vision: removing interior walls, integrating a glass cavity door, and maximising natural light to create a sense of calm and connection. The result is a space that feels bigger, brighter, and beautifully balanced.

Subtle details like the deep black stone island, clean white cabinetry, and integrated Miele appliances bring both function and finesse to daily living.
Proof that the best designs don’t just change how a space looks — they change how it feels.

This North Street room used to feel dark and under-used.

Now it’s a serene retreat with a concealed study plan so the space works seven days a week.

Design changes
• Heritage ceiling rose + pendant keep the classic character, modern fittings keep it crisp
• Balanced lighting: pendant for general use, wall lights for evening ambience, daylight filtered through shutters for screen work
• Neutral palette + plush carpet for warmth, quiet, and an instantly “finished” feel
