📍 The Slow Food Kitchen | Aldinga
Tucked away on Port Road, Slow Food Kitchen is all about thoughtful food, local produce and a slower approach to what’s on your plate. A gorgeous little spot for breakfast or lunch when you’re exploring Aldinga.

📍 Billie’s | Aldinga Beach
Right on the Esplanade at Aldinga Beach, Billie’s is your coastal coffee stop. Grab a coffee or something to eat, then you’re already perfectly positioned for a wander along one of the Fleurieu’s best stretches of coastline.

📍 Kicco | McLaren Vale
Right in the heart of McLaren Vale on Main Road. Kicco locally roasts its coffee in small batches and is an easy stop for your morning coffee before heading out to explore the w**eries, shops and everything else the Vale has to offer.

📍 Yore | Myponga
Housed inside Myponga’s beautiful old butter factory, Yore is part café, part whole food/bulk food store. Come for the locally sourced coffee and local pastries, or a banging sando, stay for a wander through Myponga Reservoir.

📍 The Farm | Whites Valley
Just outside Willunga, The Farm sits amongst an organic olive grove and vineyard overlooking the coast. Think farm-grown produce, good food, w**e and one of those settings that makes you want to settle in for the morning.

📍 Ponga Ponga | Myponga
A welcoming little café in the heart of Myponga, Ponga Ponga is a great spot to slow down over breakfast or lunch. With a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of café favourites and something sweet in the cabinet, it’s an easy addition to a day exploring the Fleurieu.

📍 Manna | McLaren Vale
A McLaren Vale brunch favourite with food worth making a stop for. Manna’s seasonal menu gives café classics a little more personality, with locally sourced ingredients, beautifully plated dishes and plenty of options for breakfast or lunch.

Krystal here, coming to you after a very BIG few days in Sydney with Jodie 💜

I was incredibly honoured to be invited to speak on a panel at the 2026 Airbnb Summit, sharing how we’re embracing AI in our business with a room full of over 300 of the best property managers, Superhosts and holiday rental professionals from across Australia and New Zealand 🙌🏽

We were also completely surprised with a nomination for the Rising Star Award and whilst we didn’t take home the win, making top 3 across all of Aus and NZ is such a credit to our incredible team, our owners and our whole Sanbis family 🥹

This not-so-little Fleurieu business started with sharing our very own home and a HUGE love of travelling, so to now be recognised for what we’ve built - and the experiences we create for both our guests and our owners - feels extra special 💜

We’re always looking for ways to do things better, push the boundaries and create even more EPIC stays and experiences across Sanbis Retreats and now, The Shores.

And safe to say, these past few days have completely filled our cup. We’re heading home buzzing with fresh ideas, big inspiration and plenty of excitement for what’s ahead…

The kind of house that makes staying in feel like part of the holiday.

Coffee on the deck with nothing but scrub outside.
Slow mornings. Long lunches around the table.
A fire going as the afternoon cools down.
Walking 500 metres down the road when you feel like swapping the trees for the ocean.

Kauwi Retreat feels warm, grounded and a little tucked away from everything, without actually being far from anything.

NEW to Sanbis ~ meet Kauwi Retreat ✨🍃

Tucked amongst the Aldinga Scrub, surrounded by native bush and kangaroos… yet somehow only 500m from the ocean.

Sleeping 8 across four bedrooms, this is the kind of place you come to properly switch off.

Morning coffee on the deck amongst the trees. A wander through the scrub with kangaroos along the way. Beach for the afternoon. Back home for a long lunch and a bottle of w**e. Fireplace on when the temperature drops.
And McLaren Vale is just a short drive away when a long lunch is calling.

White Haven is THE group getaway that makes it out of the group chat.

Wood-fired pizzas. W**e by the outdoor fire. Ping pong battles. Outdoor showers after the beach. A huge backyard for the kids. McLaren Vale 10 minutes away.
And somehow, amongst all of that, it’s still this pretty. 🤍

Start with a coffee, wander through the stalls, fill your bag with local produce, fresh bread, flowers and all the bits for an afternoon platter ✨

Then? Take your market haul back to your Sanbis stay, pour something local and settle in for a slow afternoon.

Sounds like a perfect Saturday to us 🤍
