Sometimes guests have requests… and then you get guests like Connor & Laura who wanted to experience a little bit of farm life! 🐾🌿🥚

They really wanted to meet the animals, so we picked them up from the cabin and took them down to the farm for some good old-fashioned farm fun.

Banjo & Chilli, our two kelpies, gave them a very warm welcome — plenty of pats, cuddles and, of course, lots of ball time! 🐕❤️

Connor & Laura even collected some fresh eggs from the girls and were more than happy to take them home. 🥚🐔

A lovely couple, a few happy animals and a bit of country fun… just another special part of staying at Possum Hollow Retreat. 🌿🏡

It’s not just a place to stay — sometimes you get to experience a little piece of farm life too. ❤️

Soaring Above Possum Hollow 🦅

Wedge-tailed eagles are a familiar friend here at the cabin. Keep your eyes to the sky and you’ll often spot them soaring high above, riding the wind and drifting between the treetops.

The lyrebird… quirky, noisy and always up to something! They remind me a little of the Road Runner — darting about, making a racket and keeping you entertained. 😂

Possum Hollow bush is always alive with their calls, rustling through the undergrowth and flying from tree to tree. It’s just another part of the soundtrack of the bush. 🌿🪶
