On 30 June, RE/MAX Colonial will close its doors for the final time.
After more than 25 years as part of the wonderful RE/MAX community, and 43 years as real estate professionals in and around the Annerley area, the time has come for Lorene and I to retire.
When I first began this journey in 1983, there was no long service leave, sick pay, holiday pay or superannuation. I was simply given a desk and a phone and told, “off you go.”
I was also told that house prices usually doubled every seven to nine years... At the time, homes in Annerley were selling for around $50,000, and I simply couldn’t believe that would ever happen… but look where we are now.
This industry has given us the privilege of meeting fantastic people, building lifelong friendships, and experiencing many wonderful moments along the way.
Over the years, this industry has truly evolved into a phenomenal profession that we are proud of.
We would like to sincerely thank our clients, colleagues, friends and the wider community for your support over the years. It has truly been an honour to be part of your lives and this incredible community.
We wish each one of you continued success, happiness, and all the very best for the future.
