To our guests Apollo bay is unaffected by the current fire on the Great Ocean Road and is accessible via the princes highway from Winchelsea, Colac or Camperdown. We look forward to having you visit. We advise any future guests to visit the CFA website and other official sites to get accurate information on the fires.

Being the holiday season we understand you are keen to know where you can safely visit along the Great Ocean Road.

Much of the Great Ocean Road region is unaffected by the fire in the landscape.

Lorne is currently open to visitors, however we are asking them to stay aware of the current fire situation. Lorne to Skenes Creek remains closed.

Apollo Bay and the Twelve Apostles are accessible via Colac and Camperdown. Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland are all accessible via the Princes & Hamilton Highways which are unaffected by fire.

We would like to wish all our past, present and future guests a happy holiday period and please be safe on the Great Ocean Road, there are a lot of vehicles at this time of year and some even seen driving on the wrong side of the Great Ocean Road. Stay alert and safe if you are travelling on it this holiday season 😊

Recently we had the pleasure of meeting some guest requests. A guest planning to propose to his girlfriend approached us to decorate their room win rose petals and his girlfriend's initial in a heart with towels in the shape of swans and organise a bouquet of red roses. Our guest collected the bouquet from reception prior to proposing and brought his new fiancé back to enjoy some celebratory champagne and chocolates after a romantic day on the Great Ocean Road. Special thanks to Steph at Earth Flower florist Apollo Bay for helping us meet our guests requests, and congratulations to our guests on your engagement!!!! 💕🌹

A Stunning walk only a short drive from The Apollo. There is so much to see and do around Apollo Bay you wont be bored when you come and visit us here :)

This isn't the coast of northern California. It is the Otway Ranges in western Victorian, thousands of kilometres from the redwoods' natural home.
