Don’t worry, I haven’t gone to the Yellow Side. I did however catch up with the incredible jason_song_real_estate and his wonderful Team at raywhiterochedale to share some experience from much cooler markets and how we navigated them particularly for the younger people in the room. Regardless of brand Jason is irrefutably one of the best agents in Queensland. I’m a firm believer there is way too much inter-brand rivalry and not enough collaboration and given it has been nearly 18 years since a decent market downturn there is an entire generation of young professionals who just want to learn - but don’t have anybody to turn to. I was lucky enough to come through the ranks with some incredible mentors who are mostly either retired or sadly they have passed on and I really believe it’s such a big duty for me to now pass on my experience and knowledge, particularly being REIA/REIQ Salesperson of the Year.
