Hanging out with the kiddos yesterday was a wild ride waiting to happen, and Coast is making some unforgettable tracks as the kid whose goofy grin lights up the room, his hilarious mug a reminder of the endless laughs that await, meanwhile Cove is masterfully creating a chill zone during bedtime stories, expertly laying down the law that fosters deep bonding, and with each new day, fresh shenanigans erupt into vibrant life for giggles, growth, and cherished moments, powerfully proving that embracing the chaotic journey of being a grandparents is a sidesplitting celebration of life's infinite possibilities and the unbreakable bonds that last forever. Today, reality bites as we are back in Hospital fighting some more battles, this time we are in need off some strong pain killers 💊 and possibly the help of a plumber 😬

First drive in ages taking my wife shopping. Hopefully the legs keep up or it will really be shop till you drop and the last thing I want is a trip back to the hospital.

During my current hospital visit, I’ve loving every crumb of connection with loved ones, and I’m ridiculously thankful for the awesome care that’s keeps me smiling and ready to sprint out of here as soon as things improve.

As you might now we are now just over a week away from our charity event in support of my fight against cancer, and many others just like me. Unfortunately this fundraiser hasn’t completely gone as per plan despite a huge effort of Ashlee and a few others in our Team. I am reaching out in the hope that we can drum up some last minute support so we can hopefully reach our $10,000 target.

After some great workouts in the past few days, I’m tackling the next three days of chemo with confidence. This is a familiar step in my journey to overcome cancer. Every day brings new opportunities and being surrounded by supportive people makes life incredibly fulfilling, even in challenging times.

Oh what an incredible feeling! Having savored my best two weeks in more than 3 months I finally got to relish the weekend, visiting Dutch Vinyl for some record shopping and having lunch with Alma Grommen whilst exhilarated by taking this beauty out for a spin. I even bought my first Man Bag to carry my spare Stoma supplies. Life’s amazing when you have your family, work family and friends in your corner so you can conquer your challenges together.

This time you won’t have to keep your eye on the ball, however there are still goals to be scored as every listing is a win. I wanted to share my recent experience to inspire others and spread awareness that we all have the power to overcome any challenge! After being diagnosed with cancer last November, I have faced many obstacles, including chemo, radiation, and now an operation for a stoma. While many people might prefer to keep this private, I believe that sharing my story can motivate others to be vigilant about their health and detect any potential issues early on. By doing so, we can avoid battling serious illnesses or at least make the fight less daunting. For me, this is a hopeful step forward, and I am determined to win this battle with courage and resilience. I have never been one to give up, and I am confident that together, we can overcome any obstacle and emerge stronger and more determined than ever.
