A reminder to residents that the head antenna is to be de-commissioned due to the age of the infrastructure.

These decommissioning works will take place at 9.15am on Friday 3rd May 2024.

Residents are also reminded that those residents in Stage 10B who have Ciphertel fibre services, will continue to receive TV via that service.

Residents are encouraged to engage a suitable antenna installer to ensure free to air TV services are able to be accessed without interruption.

Several years ago, Lester Group advised residents that the head antenna was to be de-commissioned due to the age of the infrastructure, advising residents to arrange individual roof antennas by end of 2016. For several reasons at the time, this initiative was deferred.

These decommissioning works are now needing to be progressed as part of the planning and works in and around the location where the antenna is housed. Accordingly, should a resident still be accessing TV services via the main antenna, it is advised this service will be discontinued from 3rd May 2024.

Residents in Stage 10B who have Ciphertel fibre services, will continue to receive TV via that service (See attached picture of Stage 10B).

Residents are encouraged to engage a suitable antenna installer prior to this date to ensure free to air TV services are able to be accessed without interruption.

A most recent post in the Kingston Community Group showed some concerns regarding loss of TV Service to the Estate.

In both August and October 2016, residents within Kingston Estate were notified by the attached flyer that TV Service would no longer be provided to the Estate from 30 December 2016.

We have attached the flyer below which will answer any questions you may have in relation to this and what homeowners must do moving forward.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns and we will answer them in due course.

How lucky Kingston Estate are to be in the South West!

At 6.01pm the South West, pending 0 cases today are out of lockdown. The Perth and Peel region will be under a transition period.

Please get back out there and support those businesses that had to close over the past week and remember you must now sign in to all retail premises (including supermarkets), cafes, bar clubs and restaurants using either the Safe WA app or the paper register.

2020 has been a different and difficult year for a lot of people, and with Christmas fast approaching, most of us are going about prepping for festivities with much excitement and celebration.

There are many in our community that have difficulty during this time of year, including having limited contact with friends and family over the Christmas and New Year period. Let’s promote the renowned Kingston Estate Community spirit by looking out for each other - take the time to check on your neighbour's and those in our community who may be in need, or those that do not have family or friends to spend the festive season with. You may consider inviting an elderly neighbour to fill a spare seat at your table, or have the family from down the street who were unable to travel home, over for a Christmas drink.

From all of us at Kingston Estate, we wish you a happy and safe Christmas and New Year.
