Today the whole Real Estate industry came together to express their extreme disappointment and anger at the decision to keep the Real Estate industry closed for an additional six weeks.

Over the last six months, sacrifices have been made by all, over a truly testing period.

Real Estate is an essential service and being able to sell, lease or rent a property due to your own personal circumstances and hardship should not be stopped or dictated by the government.

Everyone is hurting and collectively suffering at the moment and the simple change to reinstate the one-on-one private inspections could help so much mental anguish, stress, anxiety and also generate income for the for the state via Stamp Duty.

The fact is… there has been zero cases of transmission Australia wide due to any Real Estate practice or activity and we as an industry are committed to follow strict Covid safe procedures.
