September Property Management Matters 🏡

Spring leasing activity gathered momentum across our Northern Beaches rental portfolio, with 51 properties leased during September at an average weekly rent of $1,081 and an average of just 5.9 days on market.

Our team also recorded 1,338 enquiries, welcomed 841 prospective tenants to inspections and received 212 rental applications.

With activity increasing across several key measures from August, September was another busy month for our Property Management team.

UPDATE | Smart Rental Bonds have now expanded across NSW

When we last shared an update on Smart Rental Bonds, the new system was being rolled out in stages and wasn't yet available to renters on the Northern Beaches.

That has now changed.

Smart Rental Bonds allow eligible renters to transfer their existing bond when moving to a new rental property, helping avoid the financial pressure of paying a second full bond while waiting for the first to be finalised.

For landlords, the important point is that the existing bond process and protections remain in place, with the NSW Government backing agreed deductions from a transferred bond.
