Everyone loves a collaboration, right? Today, Gorsebusters, Gippsland Vegetation Management, and Inter Forestry Equipment are together on the Mornington Peninsula demoing the Prinoth Raptor 100 remote mulcher. What a beast this thing is! Spring is here and the weather conditions are becoming more suitable to deliver our non-burn bushfire risk management program.

Targeted spraying isn’t just useful to get rid of pesky weeds in your garden; it’s one of the tools FFMVic uses to reduce bushfire risk and prepare public land for the summer.

Invasive weeds grow fast, dry out quickly and crate dense fuel loads that can supercharge a bushfire.

If you live in or are visiting an area where we are delivering our bushfire risk management program, there’s a good chance you’ll see our crews at work.

✅ Why it works: less fuel means it’s harder for a fire to start and spread
✅ Where it works best: in locations where planned burning, mowing and slashing isn’t safe or effective
✅ What it protects: communities, the environment and critical infrastructure.
