This simple tiling job in the toilet turned into a bit of a surprise laundry renovation after discovering the floor had been completely eaten through by woodborers and woodrot! I had to push this one into the queue to help these lovely clients! New cabinets, benctop, sink and taps, along with a custom built shelving unit. The laundry renovation was going to happen eventually, but it just had to happen a lot quicker after discovering the small hole in the floor kept getting bigger as i investigated!!

Just completed this kitchen makeover in Lucas today and the client is loving her new kitchen! New cupboard doors, filler panels and kickers, a few extra cabinets for extra space and gone is the old glass splashback, which i replaced with a very cool tile splashback to set it all off along with some new downlights and a few other bits and bobs like slideout bin hamper and new power points with USB charge points. It has completely modernised the kitchen and the client is super happy with how it has come up. Once the new hybrid flooring goes in next week, this will be a whole new feel.

People generally say "they don't build em like they used to" and thank goodness they dont! Pulled up the old floor in this clients house to have the subfloor basically fall apart. All the brick stumps had fallen to pieces and most of the bearers and joists were not joined or fixed... some just floating in mid air. That definitely explained the trampoline like floor!! After some serious rebuilding of the subfloor, it's time to attach the new baltic pine boards. Hallway is now done, and kitchen and dining should be completed tomorrow. Amazing the difference walking on it! Now its solid! A big few days to get this one knocked over!
