Portsea Place is a charming 1850’s heritage building which has been meticulously restored, filled with warmth, character and history. Each apartment contains modern comforts, including fine finishes, a fully equipped kitchen and for your convenience Wi-Fi is available. Portsea Place is only 2 minutes to the heart of Salamanca where you will find many restaurants, bars and the traditional markets.

Other attractions very close by include Constitution Dock and the Mona / Peppermint Bay Ferry Terminal. You can also enjoy easy strolls in and around Historic Battery Point and wander down to Sandy Bay and the Casino. At Portsea Place we can also offer onsite parking at the rear of the building by prior booking. Should you require collection from Hobart Airport we can coordinate transport for an additional cost. We welcome special requests, and look forward to being of service to you during your stay at Portsea Place. Your hosts, Trevor and Lorraine.

In the hospitality industry, Its extremely hard to meet every different persons wants, needs and requirements. Here at Portsea Place we try our very best, it makes a huge difference when we get lovely notes left in the apartments. Its been a while, and we are hoping everyone is well and getting through this strange time. We miss seeing so many friendly faces staying in the apartments.
