✨ STYLING WITH FLOW, WARMTH & PURPOSE ✨

Today’s property staging was all about creating a home that feels warm, cohesive and inviting, while allowing the existing character of the property to shine.

We worked with a soft, contemporary palette of warm neutrals, charcoal, black, blush and earthy tones, taking inspiration from the beautiful timber flooring, exposed brick and timber features already within the home.

Rather than fighting those stronger architectural elements, we used them as the foundation for the styling.

Throughout the home, you’ll notice colours are intentionally repeated. Soft blush tones appear in the artwork, cushions and accessories, while black and charcoal create contrast and definition. Natural timber, textured rugs, linen-look upholstery and greenery then soften the overall look and connect the interiors back to the warmth of the flooring.

This repetition is an important part of creating visual flow. When buyers move from one room to another, there should be a subtle connection between each space without every room looking exactly the same.

In the living areas, we kept the larger furniture relatively neutral and introduced personality through artwork, cushions, texture and carefully considered accessories. Glass elements were also used in some of the smaller spaces to keep sightlines open and prevent the rooms from feeling visually heavy.

The bedrooms continue the same story, with layered bedding, oversized cushions, contrasting black accents and artwork bringing warmth and depth while still keeping the spaces calm and restful.

And that gorgeous original brick fireplace? 🤎 Rather than trying to disguise it, we allowed it to become a feature, surrounding it with softer contemporary pieces that balance the character of the home.

Good property staging isn’t simply about filling empty rooms with beautiful furniture.

It’s about understanding scale, proportion, colour, balance and flow and using them to help buyers understand how a home can be lived in.

A home should photograph beautifully, but more importantly, when a potential buyer walks through the front door, it should simply feel right.

THE ART OF STYLING A HOME 🤍

Property styling is about so much more than simply placing beautiful furniture into a space. It’s about creating balance, flow, warmth and connection allowing buyers to walk through a property and instantly imagine themselves living there.

For this home, we worked with a beautiful palette of soft neutrals, warm natural timbers and layers of texture, introducing touches of black and earthy terracotta through the artwork and accessories to create contrast and personality.

The living area was kept light and relaxed, with curved, textural furniture softening the clean architectural lines of the home. The oversized artwork creates a strong focal point while drawing the warm tones of the timber flooring throughout the space.

In the kitchen and dining area, natural timber and organic forms bring warmth to the crisp contemporary cabinetry, while subtle styling keeps the focus on the size, functionality and beautiful openness of the room.

The result is a home that feels calm, contemporary, sophisticated and effortlessly inviting.

For this property, we worked with a refined palette of soft neutrals, warm timber tones and subtle earthy accents, allowing the architecture and natural light to remain the hero.

Layered textures bring depth and softness to the space from the tactile woven rug and upholstered furniture to natural timber, glass and carefully selected décor. Touches of rust and charcoal add just enough contrast to give the home personality without overwhelming it.

Working alongside the wonderful Luke and Phoebe at Mount View Estate has been an absolute privilege. Together, we transformed this breathtaking space into a tranquil wellness sanctuary where every detail was intentionally designed to create calm, connection and relaxation.

From the soft flowing linen draping overhead, natural textures and warm neutral palette, to the carefully considered styling that complements the incredible mountain backdrop, every element was chosen to create an atmosphere that immediately allows you to exhale.

Walking into this space, you can’t help but exhale.

Every detail was intentionally created to evoke a sense of peace—from the flowing linen draping overhead to the calming neutral palette, the soft candlelight and the breathtaking mountain views beyond the infinity pool.

This is more than a venue.

It’s a sanctuary.

A place where wellness retreats inspire rest, healing and connection.
A place where yoga, meditation and mindfulness allow people to reconnect with themselves.
A place where unforgettable weddings unfold against one of nature’s most beautiful backdrops.

I’ve always believed that great design isn’t just about how a space looks—it’s about how it makes people feel.

Looking around this beautiful setting at Mount View Estate, I couldn’t be happier with what we’ve created.

✨ Behind every beautifully styled home is a whole lot of planning, creativity, and intention.

What many people don’t see is that before a single piece of furniture enters your property, we’ve already designed the entire space in our warehouse.

Every artwork, cushion, throw, bedside table and accessory is carefully selected and styled together first. We mock up each room, refine the colour palette, balance textures, and create a seamless flow so every space feels cohesive, welcoming and aspirational.

This beautiful collection was designed in our warehouse last week before being installed into a stunning home in Beaumaris on Monday morning. Seeing our vision come to life inside the property is always one of our favourite moments.
