The end of an era. Today we said farewell to our final guests. After nearly 8.5 years of welcoming thousands of people from all over the world, our farmstay journey has come to an end. Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us or celebrated a special occasion on our beautiful property. Your support has been amazing. I’m feeling super emotional, sad and proud, but also looking forward to the quieter days ahead. Thank you!

Today we said goodbye to our beautiful old boy Junior. He was our first lamb, pictured here at just two days old in March 2012. He’s been a much loved addition for nearly 13 years. He had the deepest baaa you ever did hear and that sound will be so missed. Farewell Junior 🐑 🤍

Happy birthday to us! Eight years ago today we opened the doors of Poplars to our very first guests. What a wonderful ride it’s been since. We have shared our beautiful property with thousands of people from all over the world, and have received so much great feedback.
With all this being said, at the end of this year we will be taking a break, and pausing bookings for the foreseeable future. We’d love to see you before it comes to an end.
Thanks for the ongoing support. We hope you’ve loved Poplars as much as we have loved sharing it with you.
