Calculating the lettable area of a tenancy can be difficult as all buildings are different and each has its own set of unique conditions.

You can rely on the expertise of Realserve surveyors to impartially interpret the Property Council of Australia's Method of Measurement Guidelines and determine the Net Lettable Area (NLA) of your office, so you can:

The Role

As a Senior Draftsperson, your time will be split between field work and the office, accurately measuring existing buildings and producing the required documentation utilising the latest surveying and 3D scanning equipment on a wide range of projects.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude with a minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a drafting role. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to hit the ground running being comfortable in a face paced environment to accurately produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD software for architectural and survey drawings.

You will have completed your studies in Building Design, Architectural Technology, Surveying or similar & have an interest in all aspects of the industry which includes surveying.

Experience in AutoCAD is essential, and Revit would be an advantage.

Important qualities for our ideal candidate will include:

• 3-5 years experience
• Excellent communication and time management
• Strong client focused outlook
• A current driver’s license
• Permanent residency

INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE IN AUSTRALIA RIGHT NOW

Movement in the industrial property market is unquestionable and is evident in the increasing number of warehouses and distribution centres we have been engaged to measure recently.

Realserve provides as built plans for marketing campaigns, lease negotiations, facility management purposes and refurbishment projects. Development applications require a set of documentation that details both the existing site conditions and the proposed changes.

To assist in fulfilling these requirements Realserve provided 3D laser scanning services. We were engaged to:
- 3D scan solar panels located on a roof top, overlooking Sydney Harbour
- Supply a 3D Revit Model of the solar panel structure

The 3D model gave our client's consultant accurate documentation of the existing solar panel structure, which could then be used as the basis for their drawings outlining the proposed changes.

SCAN TO BIM - AERIAL SURVEYS

Realserve is accredited to fly drones (otherwise known as UAV’s or RPA’s) for work, in accordance with Australian Government regulations. Our licensed RPA pilots are trained to assess the legal requirements associated with an aerial survey project, to develop a safe and efficient workflow.

Aerial surveys provide an extra dimension to a survey - giving stakeholders a bird’s eye view of a property which is perfect for roof surveys, large sites, agricultural properties and more.
