And 1 day later there back into it, stripping the deck, extending the scaffolding and delivery of the fire stairs to install. In a week we will be preparing the next deck in preparation of the steel fixers and next concrete pour.
And just check out the view from the level 1 balcony 😘
PS - last night was an 8pm finish 🥱

It’s a big one today, with 570m3 being laid to form the level 1 transfer slab. Never a dull moment with pours this big, with a slow delivery of trucks first thing this morning with a traffic incident at the concrete plant, but all systems go now. Will be a late one 🥱

The preparation for our level 1 slab is underway, but the most exciting part is the delivery of the pre cast elements of the balcony. Cranes into place, these panels form the “volume” and “bulk” to our facade, complemented by the (final) glass balustrades.
Keep an eye out for our update late next week with our scheduled level 1 pour as we continue to extend upward.

Change happens very quickly, particularly on a multi level apartment site. With the ground floor slab being laid last Thursday, today was the day we connected the street level to the building with the ramp from ground level into the basement being poured.
Also have the footpath hoarding being installed along Macquarie St and the propping already underway in preparation for the level 1 slab scheduled for early September. We will see progress rise into the sky very quickly now 🎉
And lastly checkout the last shot showing the magnificent views available from the podium level across the lake. I can’t wait to enjoy a coffee in the morning, or a 5 ⭐️ meal overlooking this stunning location❤️

Steel, Steel, Everywhere. And next week it will all disappear as we reach a major milestone as the ground floor slab gets poured. Fully out of the ground is an exciting point, as we expect to pour each floor every 3-4 week moving forward. The skyline of Belmont will start looking very different, very quickly 🏗️

Another basement pour completed last Friday as we close in on the structure starting to rise out of the ground. This week we will get the ramp in for B1 to B2 levels, then start on the stair install and exterior drip edge beams to the building perimeter. Then we can prepare to remove our internal bracing and work toward the podium slab. Looking forward to the day the building starts to peep above the site fencing and start reaching into the sky

B2 slab and ramp laid today in perfect conditions for pouring concrete. Always tricky when working on a ramp, but the team have done an outstanding job to get the finish spot on

Works powering onward with the construction of our B2 deck, in preparation for the B2 slab. Our precast columns to the exterior wall are in place, with steelwork being installed for the interior columns to then be formed up for pouring next week. Steel arriving Thursday for B2 slab fix out beginning next week.

Waterproofing finalised in the stormwater and lift pits, steel cages being lifted into place, steelworkers on site tomorrow finishing off so concrete can be poured Friday
